      The park contains the upper catchment areas of the Dudh Kosi river, Bhotekoshi river basin and the Gokyo Lakes and major glaciers Khumbu,Imza,Ngozumpa and Nangpa.

3. The park's visitor centre is located at the top of a hill in Namche Bazaar, where a company of the Nepali Army is stationed for protection of the park. The park's southern entrance is a few hundred metres north of Monzo at 2,835 m (9,301 ft), a one-day trek from Lukla.

4. The protected area has been identified as an Important Bird Area by Bird Life International and is included in the Sacred Himalayan Landscape.The declaration of the high altitude Gokyo Lakes as a RAMSAR site in 2007 is additional recognition of the value addition of the area .

5. The forests provide habitat to about 118 species of birds, including Himalayan monal,Himalayan vulture,blood pheasant, red-billed chough, and yellow-billed chough. Sagarmatha National Park is also home to a number of rare mammal species, including musk deer, snow leopard, Himalayan black bear and red panda. Himalayan thars, langur monkeys, martens and Himalayan wolves are also found in the park.

7. The Sherpas  have become famous for their innate mountaineering abilities and expertise as a result of years of living at high altitudes and navigating through the region. They were, and still are, instrumental in any trek and climb in the park as they have accompanied almost every successful summit to the peak of Everest. It is widely believed that they have a genetic adaptation from living in such high altitudes that make them naturally better at climbing and coping in the extreme high altitudes encountered on a climb.

1.History and Compostion Of Nepali flag:

-Nepal is the only country in the world to use non quadrilateral or non rectangular flag.

-The modern Shaped flag of Nepal was formerly adopted by unifier of Nepal,King Prithvi Narayan Shah and been used since centuries.The modern day flag was officially adopted by Nepal in December 16,1962.

-Flag of Nepal is composed of 2 orthogonal separate pennants upper longer and lower shorter(in sharp angle) joined together with  crimson red base and blue border and white heavenly bodies(crescent moon in upper and sun in lower).

2.Symbolic Meanings of Flag:

-The whole flag is a symbol of national unity and faith of Nepalese.The flag’s shape is believed to symbolize a Nepalese pagoda as observed by the local Nepalese. Placing a mirror at the hoist side can generate an image of a pagoda.

-The two triangular pennants represent the Himalayas of Nepal .They also stands for Hinduism and Budhhism,main religions of Nepal.

-The Crimson  red base denotes the colour of national flower of Nepal,Rhododendron(Laliguras).Red also signifies the bravery i.e.Nepalese people are brave by birth and shows our brave history.Red is also symbol of closeness and luck in Hinduism.

-Blue border signifies peaceful ,wisdom,tranquility and honesty of Nepalese.

-White indicates the neutrality character of Nepalese.

-The 8 triangled moon in the upper part  previously denoted the Royal House of Kings.Now,it symbolizes the peaceful quiet and friendly Nepal.Nepal is a peaceful country and  people are asleep at night.The religious rituals are also based upon the waxing and waning of Moon.

-The 12 triangled sun in lower part previously denoted  branches of Rana family.Now it is a symbol of hardworking nepalese and people are busy in daytime.Sun is a symbol of fire i.e.life and is one of Panchadev(5 Gods) in Hinduism.The 12 zodiacs and 12 months are based upon apparent  movement of sun.

-The inclusion of the both celestial bodies indicates Nepal's permanence, and the hope that Nepal will enjoy the same longevity as the Sun and the Moon.

3.Nepali flag is the most Mathematical flag amongst all other national flags.There is special and precise methods of making nepali flag in the constitution of Nepal.

4.More than 35,000 Nepalese unitedly has made Largest Human Flag of Nepal(Previouly made Guiness World record until India broke it) in 2014.

Tilicho Lake,Located in the Manang district of Western Nepal,is the alpine glacial lake situated in the conservation area of Annapurna Mountain range.

1.Tilicho lake is the pride of Nepal situated at highest altitude in the world from the sea level(4919m).

2.Tilicho lake is the famous destination in the Annapurna Circuit Trek.

3.Tilicho lake collects the melted glacial water from the Annapurna range  and donot have aquatic life in it.

4. Hindus believe that Tilicho Lake is the ancient Kak Bhusundi Lake mentioned in the epic Ramayana. The sage Kak (Crow) Bhusundi is believed to have first told the happenings of Ramayana to Garuda - king of birds, near this lake. The sage took the form of a crow while telling the story to Garuda.

5. In 2000, a Russian team (Andrei Andryushin, Denis Bakin and Maxim Gresko) set the absolute World Record for High Altitude Scuba Diving at Lake Tilicho in the Anapurna range in Nepal.
